Job Summary: Under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Education and Human Performance, the position is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Department's facilities. This includes the management of the facility budgets, the coordination of the purchase and maintenance of the associated equipment, and the management, supervision and evaluation of the personnel for which the position is responsible. Additionally, the position coordinates the scheduling of the facilities for use by multiple entities including the Department of Health & Kinesiology, Department of Athletics, Department of Recreational Sports, other University agencies, community organizations, and community members at-large. Provides Excellent Customer Services.

Job Responsibilities:
1.Coordinate day-to-day operations of the Steinke PE Center (including swimming pool and bowling alley), H&R Bldg.Annex, SPECIH&R tennis courts, archery range, and student fields for use multiple entities including the Department of Health & Kinesiology, Department of Athletics, Department of Campus Recreation, other University agencies, community organizations, and community members at-large.
2. Inspect and evaluate aforementioned facilities and its. equipment on.a daily.and long-term basis to ensure uninterrupted and optimal functioning of the buildings and the equipment housed within.
3. Supervise and direct 1 Part-time (Bowling Center Specialist), 2-4 graduate assistants/graduate student part-time, and up to 25 undergraduate student workers over any given year in the operation and upkeep of the aforementioned facilities.
4. Account creator for the HKN facilities budget, the position is responsible for the management of this budget throughout the fiscal year, managing the payroll for the staff for which the position is responsible, and coordinating all purchases, including equipment, through this account.
5. Other duties as assigned by the Dean of the College of Education and Human Performance and Chair of the Department of Health & Kinesiology.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree.
Facility and/or grounds management; budget management, personnel management or comparable education, training and/or experience.
CPR/First Aid/AED at start date.
Interpersonal skills; ability to multi-task; functional knowledge of basic computer applications (Microsoft Office applications, etc.); effective communication skills; experience working with a diverse populations (e.g., faculty, students, community members, etc.); ability to train support staff and delegate responsibility effectively.
Must be available weekends and evenings as needed, including on-call.
